Goodwood Breakfast club #2 of the year follows the same theme as the Festival Of Speed, with the traditional Supercar Sunday rebranded as Full Throttle for this year. As you’ll see the turnout was spectacular, with 2 P1s (& a GTR), 2 F40s, an F50, and all manner of other exotica turning out on a glorious sunny morning.
Still the best Ferrari ever.
With a full stainless exhaust system no less. What I wouldn’t do to hear this at full chat...
Nice line up of Skittles, oh sorry Supercars.
Mclaren brought three guns to the knife fight. P1, P1GTR Road, F1 GTR Road, Quickest way to generate a crowd clearly.
599 GTO
And an XJ220 with some added aero, anyone know what variant this is? or is it a user customised job?
Its amazing how understated the Murcielago looks now.
Sneaky Pete.
And to complete the grid, an M12 GTO.
Aplina B6 (?)
And one of I think 6 991 spec 911 GT3 RS.
Love this little detail of the new Porsche,
I mean, wouldnt you be happy if you were the centrecap on a brand new Ultima.
Enough dish?
So 80s. One of two, yellow, Delta Integrales.
Wow the Audi looks awesome without a numberplate.
Wouldn’t be a supercar gathering without an array of Ferraris.
And an F50 just tucked away in the garage, next to a new Mustang.
918 and RS200. Only at Goodwood.
And one of three Aventador LP670
There were a lot of Cayman GT4s there, including a black one which I followed in.
Wedge.
And the other F40.
This Carrera was tucked away on its own, fully race prepped
Lord March clearly has some deal with the big man. He can get the weather to do what he wants.
The aforementioned Lark P1 GTR.
This Veyron snuck in late.
Love the flip paint on this 675LT.
Details on a Superleggera, never noticed this before.
This Zonda was just parked with the ‘normal’ cars, rather than on the grid.
If TVR bring back paint jobs like this, I cant wait for their return.
The other P1, in a burnt orange colour. Awesome.
3 kiddie seats makes the Ferrari FF the ultimate daily surely?
Reliant Sabre Six, Huracan, 360 Spider. Welcome to Goodwood.
Probably the most understated car allowed in, but just as quick as most of the cars there.
Fast Wagen = Awesome.
The Monaro always had a bit of a cult following in the UK.
And another Cayman GT4
And as its Goodwood, it wouldn’t be complete without a wander through the carpark.
Fully caged rally spec MG ZR
And one of two 211s which we convoyed down with.
Also doubles as a grass cutter.
The other 211
Pistonheads is always well represented at this sort of thing.
Jaguar straight six in a hot rod.
And next to an S2000. Two fairly opposed principles of going quickly.
The innards of an early Land Rover
Steering lock - Bicycle lock.
MG TC (?) and new Stang, another sight you’d only get at Goodwood.
A little selection of Ariels
Barren interior
The Nomad dash is pretty much identical to the Atom.
Please do not be sick in the Nomad.
See the Atom is practical. Cupholders. Its basically an S-Class.
Proper Rally rep.
Green Machines - Glad BMW allow an interesting colour on their M Cars.

The XJ220 is a TWR XJ220-S, one of only six road going ones made by Tom Walkinshaw Racing, based on the TWR XJ220-C which raced at Lemans.
Love the F40 tail shot with the lens flare by the way!

I saw it through the crowd and thought it was the Lark F1 which was there last year. Was only when I was on the pit roof that I realised what it was.

Hold on. As far as I know that LARK livery is Japanese, as it was often seen on old JGTC clips running with the Supra GT500. Forgot which team, though.
Anyway, I won’t be able to pour on the comments because mobile, so hold it there.

I hadn’t seen the Mäkinen Edition deck lid decal before. Now I’m slightly disappointed at Mitsubishi leaving the ä dots out from Mäkinen.

Team Goh ran in the JGTC in 1996 & 1997 you are correct sir. I had to Wiki it though :( for shame.
There were two originally. According to the same Wiki, chassis #04R is the road legal one from the last breakfast club.
“#13R
Built for Team Goh (“Team Lark McLaren”) for JGTC in 1996, scoring 3 victories and winning the teams championship.
#14R
Built for Team Goh (“Team Lark McLaren”) for JGTC in 1996, scoring 1 victory before being destroyed in an accident at Sugo. Replaced by refurbished chassis #04R and later converted to a street car.” from Wiki.

The dots would have added extra weight, thus making the car slower... does that make you feel any better?

Team Goh... Rang a bell. They ran Audi R8 LMPs at Le Mans, too, with great success.

That’s the excuse Honda gave for not undersealing the S2000 properly.

I think thats just a Goodwood trademark now. The stuff that turns up in the carpark is always an ecclectic variety of stuff from all eras.

I saw this parked up at one of the breakfast clubs at Goodwood last year, again not on display at the track but in the field, where I parked my GTI.
